Wellness care for puppies and kittens includes more than vaccines! A puppies’ and kittens’, housetraining, basic manners and handling is just as important to make sure they start off on the right paw. Our goal is to make your puppy or kitten a model citizen in your home. Our highly trained staff is able to help you navigate your puppy or kitten through this very important stage of their life.

Bringing home a puppy or kitten can be a fun, exciting, and overwhelming experience for both you and your new family member. Preparing for the homecoming in advnce and understanding what your puppy or kitten needs will help your new best friend to become a happy, well-behaved member of your family. Austinburg Veterinary Clinic veterinarians and staff will be with you every step of the way to answer all of your questions.

Things to consider before and after getting your new pet:

• I will spay or neuter my pet. If planning on breeding, I am committed to being a responsible breeder.

• I have the time, patience and energy necessary to commit to training my new friend.
• I have researched and can commit to providing proper care, veterinary care, and nutrition for my pet.

We offer Kitten and Puppy Programs that save you money, and get your pet started off on the right paw.

We recommend scheduling your pet’s first vet visit within their first week at home. Puppies and kittens need a series of vaccinations and regular de-wormings to keep them healthy.
