In 1999, Dr. Salinger took over Austinburg Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Norm Lazor. The practice was moved to its current location in Austinburg, Ohio. Dr. Salinger was determined to make a difference in the lives of pets living in Ashtabula County. She is well known for her commitment to not only her patients, but all animals. She has worked with the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, the Ashtabula County Humane Society, and Pet-Fix.
In 2008, Dr. Salinger partnered with Dr. Paulic in the purchase of Malin Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Salinger and Dr. Paulic were long-time friends prior to partnering. They shared the same philosophy about animal care, and their strengths and interests complimented each other very well. In an effort to better serve their patients, both practices merged to the Austinburg location.
To show their dedication and teamwork, Austinburg Veterinary Clinic became accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. They also created their own Pets Helping Pets Fund. The fund is dedicated to helping less fortunate animals in need of veterinary care.
We provide a variety of veterinary medical services for dogs and cats in Austinburg, Ashtabula, Geneva, Jefferson and surrounding areas.
